When I run rough math today I get mid-teens IRR over next five years. It’s a great bank but I find other small banks like FFDF to offer much better future returns today (FFDF at ~7x forward earnings versus THVB at likely ~12-13x forward earnings, with similar growth prospects)
Is FFDF also involved in a trust management business?
I’m not sure I need more than “mid-teens IRR”. That seems perfectly acceptable to me.
I’m trying to supplement my banking portfolio by diversifying into new companies. I like the idea of a “hold it and forget it” stock as opposed to one I may need to sell or flip in 3-5 years.
No trust department for FFDF, just a very well-run plain vanilla bank that hasn’t caught the cult following that THVB seems to have in the last few years. I’ve written a few articles on FFDF on this site if you’re interested
Do you still find THVB attractive today? The price has hit your $100 low end range in only two years instead of five. Has it gone up too fast?

I will check it out. So far, THVB seems like a buy, so any idea you’re saying is more attractive is worth the research time.
